South Fulton Housing Market Somewhat Solid

A recent article by Martin Sinderman in the Atlanta Business Chronicle says the South Fulton County housing market is remaining rather steadfast in this economy. Citing a study by Metrostudy Inc. for the last 12 months ending ending in September, South Fulton had 2,805 home closings which amounts to 11 percent of all closings in the the 22-county metro area. In addition, eight of the 30 top selling communities are also in South Fulton County.

Another comparison in the story says of the top selling communities there is an average of 3.8 months of available inventory housing in comparison to 12 months metro wide.

That explains why the Publix on Hwy 92 continues to do a brisk business.
